While we rigorously screen all applicants to ensure we have the top 3% of professional freelancers, we understand that not all contractors will be the perfect fit. For this reason, we guarantee all our talent matches. If at any time customers are unhappy with their independent contractor, the FlexTal Customer Success Team will work to make things right and replace the freelancer at no additional cost to the customer.

Many organizations are faced with the challenges of finding trusted independent contractors. FlexTal uses advanced technologies and a rigorous vetting process to match professional freelancers. The average time to match is 2 days. In many cases, an introduction is made within 24 hours, and 98% of our customers hire the first contractor we introduce.

We thoroughly vet every applicant to ensure we only match the best-fitting, top-tier freelancer with customers. You’ll work with professional freelance marketers, developers, designers, and consultants on hourly, fixed-fee, and consulting projects.

Our vetting process allows us to guarantee our talent matching services. All applicants must undergo an extensive screening process that measures emotional intelligence, domain expertise, industry experience, and professional skills. To ensure all our independent contractors meet our standards, the process typically takes 2-5 weeks.

While the majority of our freelancers are based in North America, we currently have independent contractors in over 20 countries.

If this is a requirement, we can work with you to find locally-sourced professional freelance talent or coordinate relocating an independent contractor to your location for a specified period of time.

While it can take up to 5 days to make a match, the majority of our matching services find a perfect professional freelance match within 2 days. We understand your immediate needs, and we focus is on quality talent matching. At FlexTal, even if we have the right independent contractor, we will not match them until we are confident in their ability to deliver. FlexTal’s vetting process is the most important reason we can guarantee our Talent Matches and have one of the world’s largest independent contractor networks.

While independent contractors are not necessarily schedule-bound in the same way a full-time employees is, you can work with your freelancer to make commitments about meetings, working sessions, and deadlines.

If the contractor we match you with is not meeting your needs, we will work to match you with a new freelancer ASAP.

We go the extra mile to make sure this doesn’t happen. At FlexTal, we understand dependability is a top priority. We ensure that availability and reliability are top priorities for our freelancers. In the unlikely circumstance that such a situation arises, we will match a new independent contractor with the availability that suits your needs.

The customer. FlexTal focuses on providing world-class professional freelancers to the customers who want to work with them. Our contracts provide that all work created by our contractors is the property of the customer, not FlexTal or the freelancer.

We enter into work agreements with every member of our FlexTal Flexible Talent network. Through these agreements, FlexTal obtains exclusive ownership of the work created by the FlexTal independent contractor that works with you. We then provide you with the intellectual property for the work that the FlexTal contractor creates for you under our client agreement. This clean, simple, pass-through arrangement has worked well for our customers for many years. However, if you would like a matched freelancer to enter into a direct agreement with you to effect the direct transfer of IP property, we can work with you to ensure that your needs are met.

Pricing is based on the specific role, freelancer, and Work Order. We will work with you to find the right pricing structure for your needs – from hourly contracts to fixed-fee pricing.

We typically invoice our clients every two weeks, though there is some flexibility here – specific billing will be outlined in the Work Order / Contract. Invoices are due upon receipt.

We currently accept all major credit cards, ACH, and bank wires.
